Whether you’re a nonprofit organization or course creator, explore our FAQs to learn more about how CatapultU supports accessible learning and meaningful impact.

CatapultU is a Low-Profit Limited Liability Company (L3C) dedicated to providing free online courses and resources that help individuals build resilience, overcome challenges, and achieve personal and professional success.

Unlike traditional e-learning platforms, CatapultU focuses on social impact by offering completely free educational content through partnerships with course creators and nonprofit organizations.

LaunchPad Learners are individuals who benefit from free access to structured, skills-based learning due to financial, emotional, or situational hardship. 

To be eligible, learners must be current constituents of one of our nonprofit partner organizations, meaning they have received services or support from the partner organization within the past six (6) months. 

This may include individuals who are: 

  • Individuals experiencing low income or financial strain 
  • People navigating emotional distress or major life transitions 
  • Unemployed or underemployed individuals 
  • Young adults not enrolled in college 
  • Single parents or caregivers seeking new skills 
  • Stay-at-home parents preparing for re-entry to the workforce 
  • Individuals with limited access to education or training 
  • Anyone your organization reasonably believes would benefit 

In addition, LaunchPad Learners should: 

  • Have a desire or willingness to learn, grow, or work toward personal development at their own pace 
  • Have access to a mobile device, tablet, or computer 
  • Have access to internet or Wi-Fi (personal, shared, or community-based) 

These criteria help ensure that each learner has both the readiness and the ability to engage meaningfully with the CatapultU learning platform.  

Launchpad Learners are identified and enrolled through our nonprofit (501-C) partners and receive access to online course benefits for one year.

Partnering with CatapultU gives nonprofits the ability to extend access to high-quality, free courses to the communities they serve. This collaboration helps expand learning opportunities for our communities in the most need, ensuring they receive valuable resources at no cost. Additionally, nonprofit partners have the opportunity to network with other CatapultU partners and to collaborate on specialized training programs, aligning with their mission and the needs of their communities.

No! Partnership is free.

Nonprofits can join as community partners by providing access to free courses for the communities that they already serve. Email us at support@catapultu.org to learn how!

No! Hosting is 100% free for course creators, and all courses remain free to our LaunchPad Learners.

Anyone with valuable knowledge to share can apply! We welcome educators, subject matter experts, coaches, and professionals who are passionate about empowering learners through free education.

Currently, all courses on CatapultU must be free to LaunchPad Learners. In the future, select courses may be eligible for a profit-sharing model as part of a paid subscription option. More details to come!
